Fluorescence Microscopy
Fluorescence microscopy is an imaging field that uses a light source to excite fluorophores in order to recover a detection signal, the fluorescence.
Fluorescence is a signal of a higher wavelength (of a different color) with a lower energy than the excitation source used.
There are many microscopy techniques using fluorescence (Confocal, TIRF, STORM, PALM, SMLM, Spinning Disk, Lightsheet,…). Oxxius has been supporting research institutes, start-ups and manufacturers using these techniques for the last twenty years in order to contribute to their development with our laser sources and wavelength combiner.
